Our Core Beliefs

• God is the Father and Creator of all things.

• Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

• The Light, or Spirit of Christ, is present in everyone.

• We learn from Jesus Christ’s life on Earth as described in the Bible, and from the continuing life of the Living Christ.

• We strive to live the lessons of Christ in our every day lives.

• We are asked to love God with all our heart, mind, and soul; and love our neighbor as ourselves- where our neighbor is all people and all creation.

Hillel, as a Friends Meeting, strives to uphold the testimonies of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, and equality. Hillel places importance on community within the meeting, striving to be open, honest, inter-reliant, vulnerable, and loving.
