Now out of any of theses posts, This of course would be the one to get a response :) I wish more people thought about the larger impact of their acts. You throw away your soda bottle, that is one less portion of space in our landfill, and more resources required to make a new bottle... But let me stop on this path before I lose my point.

That was, that people should try to think beyond themselves and the immediate future. What will buying this product or doing this action cause? What company or industry will you be supporting?

If we look back to what April was talking about, she's right. God 'gave' us the land to care for. Care for as in be responsible with, not do whatever we want to. If we can keep that in mind, I think everyone would be making positive change.

Hey there! :) We chatted awhile back via email regarding my personal struggles with church when you invited me to try out Hillel. At the time, I couldn't meet due to my then-current obligations in our children's ministry. I'd love to come and visit now that it is over. We're still floundering with the faith. My 25 years as a Quaker, then turned Southern Baptist for 5 has seriously screwed me up in many ways. I have such a feeling to return "home" to the Quaker ways (or should that reat to thee Quaker ways LOL). But I am not wanting to return to my former meeting for many, many reasons.

Shoot me an email and let me know if you guys are meeting and when/where. I'd like to check it out.
